Twenty Six Lake Property Owners' Association
This site is managed by the association of member property owners on and within one mile of Lake 26.
Our members organized to form a body whose substantial purpose is to support the protection or improvement of Lake Twenty Six for the benefit of the Lake property owners and the general public. Affirmed in our recognitions at the state and federal level, and in our own bylaws, this purpose guides the members of the association.
Enjoy the content and pages of our site. It's built for you, the members and visitors to our wonderful lake.
Lake 26 is a generations-old beautiful natural resource. We welcome visitors to enjoy all the lake has to offer - boating, fishing, kayaking, bird watching, swimming and picnicing. We ask that lake visitors consider their impact on the lake at all times and to be aware of the concerns facing the health and beauty of the waters.
In particular, the lake is at risk and susceptible to shoreline wake damage, pollution, and invasion from undesirable plant and animal life transported to the lake on watercraft hulls and in live wells. Our Internet Landing Installed Device Sensor (I-LIDS) is always watching the hundreds of boat launch activities each year. Thousands of videos each year are captured, documenting the boats, trailers and vehicles entering and leaving the Lake26 public launch area.
